Nick Davidson is Creative Director of Alchemy, and Partner of Emicom Media.

Nick came to the UAE in the early nineties where he worked as an independent cameraman for 5 years building up a loyal client base. Nick set up Alchemy Films in 2002. By investing in people and new technology,  Alchemy is currently the leader in HD and RED Digital cinema technology in the market. Driven by a focus on technology as a main tool for growth, Nick positions his work at the forefront of the developments and innovation in video production.

With a long history and impeccable track record of working in the corporate film and documentary industries, Nick has expanded Alchemy to cover a growing demand for high quality video content in the region, becoming one of the premier corporate video production companies.

Nick was DOP and Alchemy co-produced, Hamama documentary which won “Special jury prize” at Dubai Film Fest 2010 and first prize in Doco segment at Gulf Film Festival 2011.

Nick has traveled around the world shooting for global broadcasters and major clients Include: BBC, CNN, AL DAR Properties, Emaar, Emirates Airline, Jumeirah Group, Leo Burnett, Nakheel, Zayed University and Discovery Channel.

Nick Davidson holds an MA in Arabic and Spanish from Edinburgh University.
